Christopher D. Bloom

Bloom, Christopher David, 35, Windber.  Passed away unexpectedly on Novemeber 13 2014.  Born October 27, 1979, in Johnstown. Chris was Survived by two sons, Boston (12) and Trason (9), Mother Glenda Bloom, Father, Kenneth L (Eileen) Bloom Sr., Siblings Kenneth L (Judy) Bloom Jr., Sisters, Kimberly J Bloom and Corin D (Anthony Smith).  Nieces and Nephew, Kayla Bloom, Ashley Bloom, Tiera Smith and Dylan Smith.  Grand Nieces Kyia Uphold and Mckenna Dauberman. Chris joined the Navy in 2001 and served aboard the George Washington Air Craft Carrier.  He was a veteran of Enduring Freedom.  Chris retired honorably from the United States Navy in 2008.  He was a member of the American Legion and loved fishing and baseball games.  Christopher had a soft heart, was much loved and will be greatly missed. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to time of service at 7:30 PM Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, With military rites by the Marine Corps League, Conemaugh Valley Detachment.
