Christine M. Zajdel

Zajdel – Christine M., 64, East Taylor Township, passed away on September 18, 2021. Born November 23, 1956 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Russell M. and Barbara L. (Kalina) Peruso. Survived by her children, Jonathan C. Zajdel and Nikita M. Dite and their father John S. Zajdel; siblings, Michael L. (Brenda) Peruso, Russell J. (Jill) Peruso, David A. (Pat) Peruso, and Chic (Gary) Baker and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Chrissy was a 1974 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was employed with UCP as a care giver. Chrissy was a member of the Woodvale A.C. She was an avid reader and gardener. Chrissy had the ability to create a meal out of nothing. Even if she had little to give, she gave everything. Chrissy devoted her life to caring for her son, JZ and was extremely proud of her daughter, Technical Sergeant (Nikita) Dite and her Air Force career. Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
