Charlotte F. Buterbaugh

Buterbaugh, Charlotte F., 83, of Stonycreek Township, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2013 at Windber Hospital. She was born on December 9, 1929 in Blairsville, PA. Daughter of Earl F. and Mildred M. (McKee) Smith. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Buterbaugh and daughter-in-law, Karen (Cuppett) Buterbaugh. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Frank W. Buterbaugh, Stonycreek Township; son, William L., married to the former JoAnn Pahalski, Stonycreek Township; grandchildren, Bradley and Matthew Buterbaugh, Hope McCulloch, Ron Schrengost, Stephanie Guyan, wife of Bruce and Justin (Christina) Schrengost; sister, Martha J. Wingard, Richland Township and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a graduate of Conemaugh High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, East Conemaugh. Charlotte enjoyed working in the yard and taking care of her husband, Frank. She loved going to church, spending time with her family and loved life. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Wednesday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Cleo Carr officiating. Private interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the family of Charlotte Buterbaugh Memorial Fund, c/o Slovenian Saving and Loan Association, 95 Hostetler Road, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Charlotte.
