BRANDON---Charlotte J. (Eckenrode), 90, Geistown, passed away on May 30, 2023 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born July 23, 1932, in Johnstown daughter of Edwin D. and Clara J.  (Chirdon) Eckenrode. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 56 years, Alvin “Al” Brandon, who passed away in 2004; son, David Brandon, who passed away in 2005; sisters, Mary Burkett-Everhart, Betty Mardis and Catherine Carlile, and brother, Edwin; grandsons, Eric Vaught and Matthew Brandon and daughter-in-law, Sandi (Gainer) Brandon. Survived by children, Carol Rosey, Gibsonia; Alan Brandon, Geistown; Donna Kaminsky and husband, Fred, Richland; Rick Brandon, Sheboygan,WI; Sandy Vaught, Geistown; grandchildren, Scott and Michael Rosey, Karen Sharp (Chet), Christopher (Elizabeth) and Jared (fiancé Tina) Carr, Stephanie St. Pierre, Kelly Vaught; and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley Killian, Bon Air. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Charlotte loved to attend bingo a few times a week throughout the area and enjoyed playing cards. She was devoted to her family and loved to cook meals for them and bake too. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and again from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the funeral home. Entombment Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
