Clark, Carol A., 69, of East Conemaugh. Went to be with the Lord after a hard fought 14 years with ovarian cancer. Born June 16, 1945, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Robert âBlairâ and Dorothy âTootsâ (Lee) Piker. Also preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Richard; sister, Viola âCookieâ Gustkey; beloved nephew Sam Poprich; and her 3 loved German Shepherds, Abby, Stormy and Cheyenne. Survived by a devoted husband of 44 years, Gary A. Clark; sister Sylvia (Ron) Poprich who has been a great help and inspiration these last 14 years; and brother James Piker of East Taylor. Also her dearest niece (surrogate daughter), Stephanie Johnson and her family; husband, Rob and sons, Tyler, Cody; brother-in-law, Tom Gustkey who was always there and other nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends. She will be missed by her faithful companion, âBrandyâ. Carol was a 1963 graduate of East Conemaugh High School and worked a long and loved career between Mercy, Good Samaritan and Memorial Hospitals in the finance department. She loved crossword puzzles, bingo, but mostly her friends and co-workers who stood by her from the beginning, especially Carol Vogel who called daily and kept the books and prayers coming. Friends received 2-7 PM Sunday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Blessing service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, Father John F. Brezovec officiating. Private Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery at a later date. Family suggests contributions to Conemaugh Cancer Center in memory of Carol A. Clark.
