Bruce F. Santichen

SANTICHEN---Bruce F., 67, Richland, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 15, 2024. Born November 28, 1956, in Johnstown, son of Frank M. and Jennie (Hribar) Santichen. Preceded in death in by parents. Survived by wife of 40 years, Cindy (Adamy); children, Justin (Stacey Batovsky), Richland and Ryan (Lilia), Pittsburgh. Bruce is also survived by many close family and friends who have supported them. Bruce had a long career at Verizon (formerly GTE) and MEI Systems. He enjoyed hunting, trains, model railroading, firearms and electronics. He was a member of Friends of the East Broad Top and Tire Hill Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with his close friends at Hoover’s Outfitting in Rockwood. Bruce had a long time tradition of hunting on the first day of Buck Season with his family since he was 8 years old. He never missed a year on the first day. One of his other hobbies was decorating the house with Christmas lights that were synched with music. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at Noon, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Nancy Hoover officiating.
