Brian K. Scaife

Scaife – Brian K., 57, Bon Air, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2021. Born on November 26, 1963 in Trenton, NJ, son of the late James B. Scaife and Betty J. (Grunza) Scaife-Lucas, Johnstown. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by step father, Edward A. Lucas; baby sister, and brother, Michael Miller. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving siblings, Dwayne J. (Kay), Scaife, Llanfair, PA and Sherri L. (Ken) Hess, Seward, PA; nephews, Shane (Olivia) Hess, Greensburg, and Joshua Hess, Bon Air; niece, Breanna Hess, Johnstown; great nephew, Ethan; great nieces, Sierra and Dalaynie; aunts, uncles, cousins; many friends, including his best friend, L.B. Brian was a 1982 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was employed at Market Basket as a meat cutter. Brian enjoyed fishing from his boat, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family. He especially loved his best friend, Little Bud “L.B.”. At Brian’s request, there will be no public viewing. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Rev. Dr. Robert F. Oravetz. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh.
