Brenda Ann Boykin

Boykin, Brenda Ann, 64, Freedom, PA, formerly of Johnstown. Died May 8, 2020, at UPMC Passavant Hospital. Born June 8, 1955, in Detroit, MI. Daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Harris) Yancey. Survived by husband, Theotis Boykin; siblings Mary, Alvin and Ronald Yancey; and special nephew, Katel Yancey. Brenda was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in education. She was an Administrative Assistant employed many years in the insurance industry and retired from Hiram G. Andrews Center. Brenda was of the Presbyterian faith. Private family service and inurnment at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies near Pittsburgh. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home, Inc.
