George - Blain L. Jr., “Buck”, 72, East Conemaugh, died Sept. 8, 2016 at home. Born Aug. 7, 1944 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by wife, SuzAnn F.; father, Blain L., daughter Shari Lynn and sister Judy Mardis. Survived by mother, Sara Santa of East Conemaugh; daughters, Lori, wife of William Gailey, Reading; Daria, wife of George Rygel, Franklin Borough; Christine, wife of Rusty Watson, East Conemaugh; and Rebecca, fiancé of Daniel Albright, East Taylor; grandchildren, Gregory, Blain, Amber, Brandon and Justin; great-grandson, Bryson; Sisters, Joyce and Janice Santa, East Conemaugh; brothers Michael and Bruce, Mt. Joy; and beloved pet Suzie. Served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Northampton. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Blain enjoyed camping at Glendale Yearound, fishing and hunting. At Buck’s request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received 10 to 11 AM Wednesday Sept. 14, where Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Jim Gay, officiating, and Military Rites by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
