Kocis, Mrs. Beverly A. (Ling), 77, Died July 24, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 8, 1936 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Charles E. and Louise (Albert) Ling. Survived by loving husband of 58 years Joseph P. Kocis; son Joseph P. Kocis married to Laura (Everson), Orlando, FL; daughters Lori Gillespie, Shrewsbury, PA; and Amy Brandau married to Martin Brandau, Johnstown, PA; grandchildren Jody and Michael Kocis, Orlando, FL; Mallori Doll married to Joseph Doll, Dallastown, PA; Corey Gillespie married to Rianna (Alban) , Baltimore, MD; and Kyle, Madison, and Connor Gillespie, Shrewsbury, PA; and Emylee and Jacob Brandau, and Kaitlyne Dye married to Austin Dye, Johnstown, PA; siblings Charles Ling married to Maxine (Topscher), Johnstown, PA; Linda Schultz married to Richard Schultz, Augusta, GA; Karen Giunta married to Patrick Giunta, Naples, FL; Kathy Ling; and Timothy Ling married to Pamela (Kelly) both of Johnstown, PA. 1955 graduate of Johnstown High School. She worked at Bethlehem Steel in the dispensary and after she raised her children, at Sears catalog shopping. Beverly was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a great cook, loved to spend time with her family, take vacations at the beach, and go for drives around town in the convertible with the top down with her husband. Beverly was a loving stay at home mother and grandmother. She was affectionately known as grammy and nanny by her grandchildren. She lost her three year battle with cancer peacefully with her loving husband and family by her side. Her husband has been by her side giving her the best loving care through her whole battle. Beverly was a lifetime devoted member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran church. Friends received 4-8 PM Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 AM to 11AM time of service Monday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Pastors Custead, officiating. Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. Family suggests donations in her memory to Mt.
