Schultz, Betty L., 88, Richland. Died August 4, 2012, at Golden Living Center. Born December 1, 1923, in Windber. Daughter of the late Sylvester and Gladys (Mitchell) Thomas. Also preceded in death by husband, Gerald F. in 2009 and brothers Earl and Charles; and sister Velma Hockins. Survived by sons; Jerry and Scott, Richland, formerly of Virginia. Graduate of Dale High School. Member of Bethany United Methodist Church and was active with the Geistown-Richland Lions Club, with her husband. Private funeral service at the convenience of the family with Rev. Keith Dunn, Officiating. Private Interment at Richland Cemetery. Family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Bethany United Methodist Church, 112 Leventry Rd., Johnstown, PA. 15904, in memory of Betty L. Schultz.
