Betty L. Orris

Orris, Betty L., 92, of Walnut Grove, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2012, at Arbutus Manor. She was born on July 28, 1920 in Johnstown. Daughter of Earl B. Sr. and Zella G. (Lehman) Callihan. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John E. Orris Sr. and 4 grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, Wanda Orris, FL, Joanne Lester, VA, Nancy Baumgardner, FL and John Orris Jr., Johnstown; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother, Alvin Callihan, Johnstown and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Johnstown. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Betty loved spending time with her family.
At Betty’s request there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
