LONCALA---Betty Ann (Boxler), 75, Mineral Point, died at home on December 28, 2019. Born February 1, 1944, in Mineral Point, daughter of John Sr. and Elizabeth (Young) Boxler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald Loncala; siblings, Ran Young, John Boxler Jr., Barbara Boxler, Robert Boxler, Helen (Boxler) Sell, S. Dwayne Boxler, Harry Boxler and Donald Boxler; grandsons, Corbin Cole-Yurasek and Joshua Pecze. Survived by children, Stephen A. Yurasek III, Annamarie (Yurasek) Pecze and Della (Yurasek) Csehoski, married to Steve; grandchildren, Vanessa Pecze and fiancé, David Morley, Alicia Pecze, Kate Csehoski, Emma Csehoski and Kameryn Csehoski; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Morley, Joseph Rava and Summer Noon. Sister of C. Jean Boxler and Ronald Boxler. Betty was the family caregiver and historian. She loved her family more than anything. She called family and friends daily and cared about everyone. Although not rich, she shared what she had generously with others. Everyone she met she told them to call her grandma. Betty inherited her father’s sweet tooth and was never without candy close by. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to Noon on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh, followed by a memorial meal at Turner’s Hall.
