Betty L. Kubanda

Kubanda, Betty L., 91, Geistown. Passed away on February 7, 2011. She was born on October  31, 1919 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Albert and Bernadine (Wertz) Ulerich. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Kubanda and these sisters and brothers, Ruth Walters, William and Paul Ulerich, Margie Brown, Jean Ott and Esther Lishka. Survived by a brother Walter Ulerich, Uniontown and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a retired secretary from Conemaugh Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. At Betty’s request there will be no public viewing. Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Rev. Custeads officiating. Private interment will be at Richland Cemetery. Family suggests donation be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1000 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15904 or to the American Cancer Society, Central Region, Cambria Unit, 350 Budfield Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Betty.
