Betty J. Kniss

Kniss, Betty J. (Mack), 81, Williamsburg, VA, formerly of Johnstown, passed away May 26, 2015 at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 24, 1933 in Strongstown. Daughter of the late William C. and Alice (Michaels) Mack. She married the love of her life, William H. Kniss, on March 26, 1953 and they had 62 wonderful years together. She is survived by her husband; son Rodney W., married to Dianne (Paul), Johnstown; and daughter, Darlene J. Wilburn, married to David Wilburn, Allen, Texas.  Grandchildren; Heather, wife of Paul Cassidy, Travis Kniss, Brent, Isaac, and Jacob Wilburn; and Great Grandson Dylan Cassidy.  Also survived by sister, Leona (Frank) Saylor and brothers; Don (Bonnie) Mack; and Rodger (Shelby) Mack; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Melvin and Donna Kniss; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be sadly missed.  She enjoyed her flowers, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends.  Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday and one hour prior to service at 11:00 AM Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland with the Rev.
