Betty M. Grove

Grove, Betty M., 86, East Taylor Twp., formerly of East Conemaugh. Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 23, 2014, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Aug. 3, 1928, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Horner) Meredith. Also preceded in death by husband, Glenn E. Grove; infant sons, Ricky and Randy; brothers, Charles “Chuck”, Wilbur “Webb” and John “Jack” Meredith. Survived by children; Glenn M., married to Debra (Marguccio), Richland; Kellie E. Grove, at home; and Cindy G., wife of John Neese, East Taylor. Beloved Grandbaby,  Lindsey, wife of Michael McCloskey and grandsons; Brian Hockensmith, and Jeremy Neese. Sister of Ronald G. married to Shirley (Piker); sisters-in-law, Shirley Meredith, Margaret “Jean” Meredith, Betty R. Grove and Florence Grove. Also numerous nieces and nephews and dog, Finn. Graduate of East Conemaugh High School. Faithful Member of Conemaugh First United Methodist Church where she served as Lay Leader and in numerous other capacities. Former employee of  Penn Traffic, Lee Hospital and Parkhill Drug. Betty currently volunteered at central scheduling for Conemaugh Medical Center. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was kind and loving. Friends received 2-8 PM Tuesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Funeral Service will be held at 11 Am Wednesday at Conemaugh First United Methodist Church. Pastor Cleo Carr, officiating. Private interment at Headricks Union Cemetery.
