Betty L. Atkins

ATKINS – Betty L. (Tucker), 92, Richland Towers, passed away January 3, 2016 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born September 3, 1923 in Commodore, PA, daughter of the late Ralph and Martha (Linafelt) Tucker.  Proceeded in death by beloved husband, Walter P. of 52 years; five sisters and four brothers.  Survived by sons, Thomas, married to Rose (Bodenschatz), Shrewsbury, and Brian, married to Denese (Brandle), Windber; grandchildren, Jill, married to William Dunbar, Daniel, married to Jackie (Beerhalter) and Heather, married to Keith Kaufman and five great-grandchildren.  Member of Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church, Windber.  She had many great friends and deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Friends received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 AM to time of service at 1 PM  Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
