Bessie Krzanowsky

Krzanowsky, Bessie, 84, of Parkhill. Died Oct. 29, 2013, at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born Jan. 12, 1929, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Samuel and Milka (Kosjer) Ribich. Also preceded in death by husband, Blaine Krzanowsky; siblings, Mildred “Mitzi” Stermec, George, Nicholas and Michael Ribich and best friend, Rose Zajdel.  Survived by sons; Edward Joseph, Lancaster, PA; and John Michael and significant other, Joan Gomulka, Conemaugh; sister, Dorothy Donnelly, MI; also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Cross National Catholic Church, Woodland Ave. Democratic Committee Woman in East Taylor Twp. for many years. Member of various clubs and organizations in the community. Bessie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all. Friends received 2-8 PM Friday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh where Prayers will be held at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Saturday at Holy Cross National Catholic Church. Fr. Paul Zomerfield, officiating. Interment at Church cemetery.
