Rummel, Bernice Margaret, âGrammy Rummyâ, 88, Johnstown. She was welcomed into the Lordâs arms on January 6, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 13, 1924, to the late Edward and Sophia (Brink) Schlosser of Johnstown. Bernice, a woman of strong faith in the Catholic Church and the most loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt, is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert C. Rummel; granddaughter Brooke Bethany Biesinger; brother Edward Schlosser; sisters Dorothy Yeager and Virginia Lochrie; sister-in-law Jeanne Hepner; and adored terrier, Peppy. She is survived by daughter, Kathleen, married to James Biesinger; son Robert, married to the former Sharon Swope; beloved grandchildren, Courtney, married to Rick Jordan; Lynleigh, married to Russ Learn; Marisa, married to Eric Dibble; Meghan, married to Adam Neff (Fairfax,VA); and Bethany. She also leaves behind 9 precious great-grandchildren, Kaley, Rianna, and Emma Learn; Jeb, Dane and Jenna Jordan; Madelyn and Isaac Dibble; and Carter Neff. Bernice was a former employee of the Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. as a secretary to the late Commander Hammond. Her life was characterized by her endless dedication to her faith and family and her passion for coffee and chocolate. Private family visitation, however friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass held at 11 AM Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Moxham. Fr. Matthew Reese, Pastor.
