TOMPKINS -– Bernard G. "Bernie," 80, Richland Township went to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his loving wife Gloria on September 14th, 2024. Born on July 1, 1944 in Johnstown, PA, son of Noah and Evelyn (Friedline) Tompkins. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Gloria, brother Ronald, and brother-in-law Jack Tibbens. He is survived by his children, Randy Kost, Trish (Brian) Deitke, Tire Hill, PA, Lisa (Carl) LeBlond, New Florence, PA. He was Pappy to Grandson Ryder LeBlond and Madelynn Kost. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Joann (Jim Patterson) Tibbens and Darlene (Frank) Carey and nephew Kevin Tibbens. Bernie was a veteran of the USAF and worked as a bread delivery salesman for many years. He was a loving Husband, Father, Pappy and jokester. Bernie was his grandson’s biggest fan and enjoyed following his Hard Enduro Races and videos online. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, grandchildren and grand-dogs. Bernie and Gloria always did things together in life, and in eternity, may they always be together. Forever in our hearts. Private viewing and funeral at the convenience of the the family.
