This is a story of hope, faith, and, extraordinary love that wove Barbara to her family, her friends, and the world. Barb lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people. Her journey was a testament to the power of faith during life’s challenges having being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her 30’s, hope in the face of uncertainty, and the deep, enduring love that she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. In 1988, she was honored the MS Person of the year by the Cambria County MS Society for her courage and determination. She was passionate about her children and later, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barb’s strength and love of life were a testament to her resilience, and her deep faith in God helped her overcome the many medical challenges she faced. No worries, though, her smile could light up any room. It would be hard to find someone that Barb didn’t help. She could cook, sew, craft, write, and sing like no other. Mom could do it all.
