Barbara K. Bodnar-Domonkos

Bodnar – Domonkos, Barbara K., 71, Johnstown, formerly of Hooversville. Went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on February 10, 2018.  Preceded in death by mother Kathryn Landeros, father Stephen Thompson, step-father Glen Boyd, 1st husband Kenneth Domonkos, infant grand-daughter Destiny Valente and brother in law, Thomas Montag. Survived by husband David M “Bo”Bodnar and children: Kenneth M Domonkos and children Nicole, Amy, Kenneth B.; Christy Domonkos and wife Colene and daughter Kaylin; Adam Domonkos and wife Chardae and children, Lacey, Kali, Michael and Devin; Chad  Domonkos; Rebecca & husband Pastor Chris Valente and children, Ian, Nathanael, Landen and Lincoln;  Allyson Toro & husband Lee (Camp hill PA) and children Olivia, Logan, and Lauren.  Great grandchildren, Noah, Lauren, Aiden, Lana, Cambria and Andrew. Siblings Patty Montag (York, PA), Brenda & Charles Kuzmiak (Manchester, PA), Jeffery & Patty Boyd ( Camp hill, PA), Holly Boyd-Powell (Windber, PA) Steve & Cathy Thompson (Johnstown, PA) and numerous nieces and nephews. Faithfully attended Oakland United Methodist Church where she served in many ministries and activities as well as a mentor to many people in and out of church.  Hobbies included coloring, crafting, writing poetry and spending quality time with grand & great grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending as much time as she could with her family. The family will receive family & friends from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at Harris Funeral Home, 500  Cherry Lane, Richland, on Wednesday February 14, 2018 and Thursday from11:00 until time of service at 12:00 at Oakland United Methodist Church. Pastor Randy Bain and Pastor Christopher Valente.  Interment at Berkey Cemetery, Windber. Family suggests donations to Oakland U.M. Church Memorial Fund in memory of Barbara.
