Costanzo, Arthur E., âArt or Skitsâ, 95, of Richland Township. Died Feb. 23, 2014 at home. Born Mar. 28, 1918, in Johnstown. Son of the late John and Rose (Pingatore) Costanzo. Also preceded in death by siblings; Catherine Perry, Geraldine, Teresa, Samuel, Jennie Rutledge, Mary Pantana, Agnes Manganella, Louis and Carl Costanzo. Survived by wife of 68 years, Velma (Carnevali) and these children; John (Cindy Mundwiler), St. John, Virgin Islands; Edward, Richland; Richard (Debbie Lichvar), Baltimore, MD; and Susan (Greg Maffeo), Surprise, Arizona. Grandchildren; Marx, Ian, Kira, Brianna, Sean, Ryan, Katie and Carly. Great grandchildren; Marx, Jr., Matthew and Jackson. Art was a 1935 graduate of Johnstown High School and a WW II Army Veteran. He is a retired Co-Owner of United Metal Fabricators. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Art and Velma danced together for over 70 years. He was an avid golfer at Windber Country Club and President of Blue Knob Ski Club. Art was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. âHe was a pretty good fellaâ. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held.
