Fyock â Arnold P., âArnieâ, 76, Conemaugh Township, Cambria County, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2014 at his residence. Born on January 21, 1938 in Johnstown, son of Merle E. and Elizabeth C. (Held) Fyock. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Helen Sustersich, Mary Jane Kleitches, infant sister Arlene Fyock, and Donna Hillegas and sister-in-law, Carol Fyock. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Arlene M. (Swaltek) Fyock; sons, Jason P, married to the former Kimberly J. DeLisio, Canfield, OH and Randy W., Johnstown; beloved grandsons, Joseph P., John D., and Zachary W. Fyock; siblings, Bruce, Johnstown, Dwight, married to the former Mary DeLozier, Sidman, Audrey Fyock, Johnstown, Robert, married to the former Christine Charney, South Fork, Janet, wife of George Sharp, Decatur, GA, Janice Fyock, Shelbyville, DE, Howard, married to the former Patricia Lance, Litiz, PA, Kenneth, married to the former Joann Benya, Johnstown, and Regina Harris, Johnstown; numerous nieces, nephews and his special companion, Annie. Arnie was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School. He was a US Air Force Veteran from 1958 â 1965, and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Arnie retired in 2000 from Bethlehem Steel, Freight Car Division, after 36 years of service as an Electrical Crew Leader. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and the Greater Johnstown Saddle Club. Arnie enjoyed hunting, riding his horses and walks with his grandsons. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father and pappy, who will be missed dearly. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. The family suggests contributions be directed to St. Benedict Catholic Church, Building Fund, 2310 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Arnold.
