Arlene was a graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She had a life-long passion for music. Arlene was a 60 year member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir; and past member of the Red Hat Society. She was a home maker who devoted her life to her family. Arlene was an excellent cook, baker, and candy maker. Her family would like to thank the staff at Windber Hospice for their compassionate care. We would also like to thank the home care givers, Kate, Vicki, and Sue; your diligent and compassionate care enabled her to remain in her home longer than would have been otherwise possible.
At Arlene’s request, there will be no public viewing. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Rev. Rob Hernan officiating. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
