Puto, Anne Marie, 64, of Richland. Passed away Feb. 20, 2021 at Windber Hospice. Born July 20, 1956, in Windber. Daughter of the late John Michael and Ann Theresa (Biel) Puto. Also preceded in death by sister-in-law, Carol; and niece, Amy. Survived by companion and best friend, Gregory Gdula. Sister of Ron Puto. Graduated from Forest Hills High School class of 1974. Received a BS degree in Elementary Education from UPJ. Masters Degree in Language Communications, University of Pittsburgh. Also, a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from IUP. Served on the board of Appalachian Youth Services and Cambria County Literacy Council. A reading specialist for the Children’s Aid Home in Somerset. Retired from IU8 with 42 years’ service. Anne Marie was listed in “Who’s Who in American Education. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours hiking, cross country skiing, biking, and camping with Greg. Anne Marie also enjoyed cross-stitching and collecting arts and crafts. She enjoyed traveling the U.S. and Europe. Visitation Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm time of Funeral Service at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Fr. David S. Peles, officiating.
