Ondesko, Anne M., âHoneyâ, 83, entered into eternal life on June 16, 2012 at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born on May 15, 1929 in Blough, Somerset County. Daughter of Adam and Mary (Ziemba) Zaklukiewcz-Secovich. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Michael E. Ondesko Sr., April 12, 2007; daughter, Monica Impala; sisters, Stella Cwiakala, and Victoria Krupa; brother, Michael and three infant grandsons. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia O., wife of Steven Glass, Spring, TX; son, Michael E. Jr., married to the former Jacqueline C. White, Richland; son-in-law, Frank Impala, South Fork; grandchildren, Elizabeth Kelly (Glass), wife of Eric Williams, Dr. Daniel Glass, and his fiancé, Dr. Shannon Barry, Dr. Jonathan Glass, Kristin Impala, Megan Impala, Christine (Ondesko), wife of Justin Timura, and James Ondesko; great grandchildren, Andrew and Elyse Williams; sisters, Mary Dwulet, NJ, Kathryn, wife of Philip Smakula, Hollsopple; brother, Stanley, husband of Jackie, MI and numerous nieces and nephews. As a young woman, Anne had worked in the city of NY. She returned to the area and worked at Bestform. She then met her husband, Michael and were married on July 21, 1951. Mike always said he knew she was the one when he saw her in her babuska. Anne was a member of the former Corpus Christi Parish and Ladies Auxiliary, Dunlo, PA and was a current member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, PA. She enjoyed baking, cooking, bowling, playing horseshoes and spending time with her family and all the family dogs. Anneâs outgoing personality will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Anneâs family wishes to thank the staff at Crossroads Unit at Arbutus Park Manor for all their loving care while she was there as a resident. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Father David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery.
