Annabelle Stephenson

Stephenson – Annabelle, 85, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2017. Born on November 21, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Floyd and Teasdale (Gunsallus) Day. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Sr.; brothers, Floyd, Charles, and Donald. She is survived by her loving children, Shelly (Jeffrey) Wingard, Richland Township, Thomas Jr. (Marsha), Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Brenda Stephenson, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Chelsey, Garrett, Marc, Terrance, Stephan, Brian, Marcus, and Moriah; brother, Robert (Marvel) Day; several nieces, nephews, and numerous close friends, including special friends, Dave, Mary, and Judy Gunsallus. Annabelle was a graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She was employed at the former Glosser Brothers, Toy Ladies, and Bi-Lo. Annabelle was a member of Summit Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed numerous activities with her church family. Annabelle especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Annabelle’s family would like to thank the staff at Arbutus Park Manor and AseraCare Hospice for the loving care they provided. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev.  Keith H. Lohr officiating. Private interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to either Summit Chapel United Methodist Church, 2142 William Penn Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15909 or to Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Annabelle.
