Gundlach, Anna Mary, 95, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Johnstown, passed away on Feb. 25, 2016 in Lakeland, FL. Born on February 27, 1920 in Fishertown, PA. Daughter of Harry E. and Luella (Miller) Hinson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Gundlach who passed away in 1989; granddaughter, Karri Sherbine; grandson-in-law, Delmar Teagan and a brother, Carl. She is survived by her loving daughters, JoAnn wife of David Sherbine, Carol wife of Richard Long, and Linda R. Gundlach, with whom she resided, all of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Kristofer Sherbine, Kreg Sherbine, Kevan Sherbine, Karen Sherbine, and Kortney Sherbine, Ron Long, Ben Long, Melanie Teagan, Katie Carper and Jacob Long; great grandchildren, Alexandra and Nicholas Sherbine, Nathaniel Sherbine, Ariana Long, Amelia Long, Jordan, Justin and Jadyn Long, Merrick, Morgan and Kaeli Teagan and Selah, Jude and Sam Carper; siblings, Robert Dean Hinson, New Paris, PA, Doris Jean Jones, Roanoke, VA and Janet Louise Jones, Thomasville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna Mary was a Valedictorian of New Paris High School, class of 1938. She was also a graduate of Cambria Rowe Business College. Anna Mary retired after 17 years from G.A.B. Insurance where she was employed as the Office Manager and retired in 1982. She was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1943. Anna Mary served as church treasurer, deaconess, Sunday school secretary and where ever else she could be of service. She is remembered and appreciated by her family for her strong and faithful prayer life and her dedication to God’s Word, which she read through frequently. Friends will be received from 3-8 P.M. on Wednesday March 2, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Graveside Committal will be held at 10 AM Thursday at Fishertown Cemetery with Memorial funeral service at 2 P.M. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. David Streets, officiating. Family suggests donations be directed to Mission Discovery for Port-de-Paix, Haiti orphanage transition home.
