Ann L. Stefanik

Stefanik, Ann L., 90, of Geistown. Went to be with the Lord on Oct. 27, 2016, at home. Born on December 14, 1925, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Mikulsky) Nekosky. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Stefanik; brothers, Leo, Albert, John, Joseph, and Edward; and sisters, Mary, Rose, Helen, Agnes, and Veronica. She is survived by her loving children; David M., Pittsburgh; Matthew E., married to the former Dolores Simunic, Richland; Lori A., wife of Daniel Liker, Richmond, VA; Eugene S., Philadelphia, PA; and Steven M., Geistown; grandchildren, Nathan, Anthony (Sarah), Sean (Jamie), and Sara; great grandchildren, Jack and Theo; and several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Marge Nekosky, Geistown. Ann was a 1944 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, and the Widows Guild. Ann enjoyed sewing and her old movies. She loved her entire family, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery.
