Angela M. Romano

Romano, Angela M., 94, of Geistown. Died Mar. 8, 2015, at Arbutus Manor.  Born Sept. 9, 1920, in Windber. Daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Drzal) Bachorz. Also preceded in death by husband, Santo H. Romano; daughter, Ann Parfitt; brothers, Joseph, Andy, Bob, Walter, Eddy and Stanley “Red”. Survived by children; San, married to the former Stephanie Stralko; and Angela, wife of James Badaczewski; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen and San Michael;  Jason, Jordan and Courtney; and Samantha, Joe and Jamie; great grandson, Owen; also son-in-law, Brad Parfitt; sister of Frances “Nunny”, Helen and Stella; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown; Federated Democratic Women’s Club, ISDA; and many card clubs. Angela was a an endearing wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards, bingo and going to Atlantic City. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Benedict Church. Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Private Committal at St. Anthony Cemetery.
