Alvin E. Comeau

Comeau, Alvin E., 67, of Richland. Died January, 26, 2015 at home. Born August 1st, 1947 in Chipman, New Brunswick, Canada. Son of the late Sylvain and Annie (Richard) Comeau. Also Preceded in death by brothers; Raymond, Sylvio, and Jean Paul Comeau. Survived by wife of 29 years, Tammy J. (Brush); children Debi A. (Brian) Andres, of Corona, Ca. David J. of Richland; Kelly A. (Jamie) Shaffer of Johnstown; and Paulina J. of Richland. Grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel, and Luc Andres and Costan, CheyAnn, and Connor Shaffer. Brother of Omer and Ovila of Gardner, Mass. Also, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Al was an army veteran of Vietnam and a retired long-haul truck driver. He enjoyed playing country music on his guitar on Saturday nights with the “Shanty Pluckers” (Sam, Bingo, Kenny, Bobby, and Harv). Al was an avid Hockey fan and the kind of person that would lend a hand to anyone who needed one.  He truly loved his wife, children, and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him.
