HALL—Alonzo Jr. “Bud,” 82, Johnstown, passed away on March 21, 2022. Born July 15, 1939, in Midway, Alabama, son of Alonzo and Anne (Williams) Hall. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Frank C. Hall, sisters, Lola Reviere, Willie Mae Seals, Odessa Hall; son, Alonzo Hall III, daughter, Nadine Lewis and nephew, Stacy Hall. Survived by wife, Loretta (Jones); children, Valerie Allen; Angela (Marvin) Shields, all of Johnstown; Charlene Hall, Houston, TX; Craig Hall; and Charles Hall, both Johnstown; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Brother of Wilma King, Johnstown. Also survived by special nieces and nephews, Barbara, Monica, Bernette, Regina, Gary, Troy, Jesse, Glenn and John and host of other nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors. Alonzo was a United States Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. He truly loved the Marine Corps. Bud loved spending time with his friends downtown and going to the casinos. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Theodore Tisinger officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery with Military graveside rites by Conemaugh Valley Marine Corps League, Detachment #287.
