Alma L. Lauffer

Lauffer – Alma L., 85, Mineral Point, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2014 at her residence. Born on January 27, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Harold A. and Vergie L. (Beckley) Rouzer. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, George F. Lauffer Jr.; grandson, Kyle E. Schlosser; sister, Betty Heeney and brother, Alvin Rouzer. She is survived by her loving children, Lora Lynn Schlosser, Mineral Point, Mark Allen Lauffer, Ebensburg, Wesley Todd Lauffer, Mineral Point; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Alma enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates while crocheting. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Cleo Carr officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters Donations, 6520 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130 in memory of Alma.
