Mack, Alice Caroline, 96, of Davidsville, formerly of Vinco, passed away on April 3, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Alice was born on July 26, 1916 in Vintondale. She was the daughter of Isaac and Clara (Jones) Michaels. Alice married William C. âTedâ Mack on December 6, 1932. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1991. In addition to her parents and her husband she is preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Charles, Clyde, Lester, her twin Jay, Walter, Carl, and Milford; sisters, Edna King, Elma Brehm, and Bertha Ford. She is survived by her daughters, Betty J., wife of William Kniss, Williamsburg, VA, Leona P., wife of Frank Saylor, Davidsville; sons, Donald C., married to the former Bonnie Cook, Shippensburg, and Rodger W., married to the former Shelby Keim, Bedford; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; brother, Raymond, Baltimore, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vintondale, PA. She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed her flowers, collecting clocks, but especially loved spending time with her entire family. Aliceâs family would like to thank the staff at the Allegheny Lutheran Home for their compassionate care during the years she was there. Friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Nathan Elliott officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday at Ogden Cemetery, Mineral Point, PA.
