Alice Mae Berkebile

Berkebile, Alice Mae, (Lindenberg), 90, of Richland. Went home to be with her Lord August 3, 2016, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born May 28, 1926 in Conemaugh. Daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Kane) Lindenberg.  Also preceded in death by husband of 69 years, Doyle D. Berkebile  on Feb. 5, 2016; brother William,; brother Paul and wife Hazel; brother Charles and wife Charlotte; brother Walter and wife Dorothy; and sister Viola Hillegass and husband Blair.  Survived by daughters Kathy, wife of David Mills and Beth, wife of Mark Smith, both of Richland; grandchildren, John Corle and wife Sarah, Kimberlee Geisel and husband David; great grandchildren Cameron, Brynne, Abigayle, Loryn and Eli; step-grandchildren Brenda and Robert; step-great-grandchildren, Louise, Andrew and Mary; and step great-great-grandchild, Zoe. A 1944 graduate of Conemaugh High School and former employee of Penn Traffic Department store. Member of Belmont United Methodist Church.  Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 9 AM to time of Service at 10 AM Monday at Belmont United Methodist Church.
