Kelley â Alfred E., âSkipâ, 77, Elton, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2014 at his residence. Born on October 7, 1936 in Elton, son of the late George E. and Alma L. (Golden) Kelley. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn B. (Zolnosky) Kelley; children, Dara L., wife of Stephen Kendera, Vinco, Gene, married to the former Leah Grigg, Richland Township, and Tonya A., wife of John Wargo, Milton, PA; grandchildren, Madison (Garrett) Anderson and Cody Kendera, Samantha (Craig) Molchany, Alyssa and Chelsea Kelley, Trent, Grant and Blake Wargo; sister, Carol Williams and several nieces, nephews and beloved pet, Becca. Skip was a 1954 graduate of Adams Township High School. He retired after 38 years of service as an O.M.S. Chief from the 876th Engineers serving in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. Skip was a life member of Dunmyer Lutheran Church; Cambria Lodge #278, F.&A.M.; PA Fish Commission; Secretary of Adams Township Municipal Sewer Authority and was past President; former Secretary of Windber Country Club; was a former player and coach of the Johnstown AAABA League and the Richland American Legion, Post #849. Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle with his wife and dog, boating, and watching his Pirates. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nila Cogan Officiating. Entombment will be at Richland Mausoleum with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team.
