Goodin - Alcinda Ann, “Cindy”, 79, of Phoenixville PA, formerly of Richland Township, died on December 26, 2017 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, PA. Born October 27, 1938 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of the late Harry A. and Elizabeth A. (Woolfe) Murray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles E. Goodin, and brothers-in-law, Robert Schalles and Don Hamel. She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Ann, wife of James Vilga, Valparaiso, IN; Amy Lynn Goodin, Norristown, PA; Allison Jo, wife of Larry Carlson, Rough and Ready, CA; Melissa Goodin-Lucier, Coatesville, PA; grandchildren, Matthew Garrett Vilga, Ryan Linner Carlson, Olivia Grace Lucier, Nicholas Axel Linner Carlson, Nathan Charles Lucier; sister, Mary E. Hamel, and nephew, Mark Hamel, of Roseburg, OR; sister-in-law, Joyce Schalles, Windber, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Cindy was a graduate of Ferndale High School. She was a member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Cindy retired from the former Hallmark Store at the Galleria Mall. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, watching Steeler football games and baking. Cindy loved serving the United Methodist Church alongside her husband. She was an animal lover and loved the Sheltie Collies she had over the years. Cindy will be missed by all staff and friends at Spring Mill Senior Living, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Howard Burrell officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Cindy’s family suggests contributions be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
