Pudliner, Albert H., âPuddyâ, 85, of Stonycreek Township, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2012 at Golden Living Center. He was born on October 27, 1926 in Johnstown. Son of John and Elizabeth (Streilein) Pudliner. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, John; son-in-law, Dr. George Kresak; brother-in-law, Rev. Gene Abel and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Pudliner. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alberta A. (Senft) Pudliner, Stonycreek Township; son, Albert J., married to the former Patsy Ritchey, Daisytown; daughter, Alberta J. Kresak, Richland Township; granddaughter, Melissa, wife of Alan Forish, Hollsopple; great granddaughter, Alyssa Forish, Hollsopple; brother, Ernest Pudliner, Westmont, sister, Alma Abel, Rockwood; sisters-in-law, Eileen Heinrich, Richland Township and Miriam Karl, Cover Hill and several nieces and nephews. Pud was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WW II. Pud retired in 1983 from Bethlehem Steel, where he was a Sheet Metalist. He enjoyed refereeing high school girls and boys basketball games as well as umpiring little league and pony league baseball games. Pud loved spending time with his entire family, especially his grand and great granddaughters. At Puddyâs request there will be no public viewing or services. Private entombment will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of oneâs choice in memory of Albert.
