Alan M. Dunn

Dunn, Alan M., 63, of Richland, died September 14, 2012 at Windber Hospice.  Born January 30, 1949 in Greensburg.  Son of the late James Dunn and Mabel (Heller) Rusnak.  Preceded in death by brother, Ronald Dunn.  Survived by stepfather, Edward Rusnak; son, Edward J. Dunn and wife Samantha of Kentucky; grandsons, Brandon and Austin Dunn.  Brother of Russell, married to Susan (Faith), Richland; Candice Dunn, Amsterdam, NY; Denise, wife of John Miller Jr., Beaverdale; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart and having 18 years’ service as a medic.  Member of Richland American Legion.  Alan enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, playing guitar, and old movies.  Friends received from 2-8 PM Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, Pastor Jim Gay, officiating.  Military rites by Menoher Post #155, VFW Ritual Team at the service.
